Sienna Miller is probably my oldest style icon... My sister actually called Sienna her style icon years ago and so naturally, like a younger sister does, I decided I would too. :0) I feel like she's always been cool and has sported this boho chic / "I do my own thing" style for as long as I can remember. Another closet I would love to own. It LITrally lights my insides up and my heart stops a little when I see someone dressed so well - like they aren't trying to impress anyone... they are just doing their own thing and blowing people away. AND she has great hair and skin. JERK.
I discovered that what's really important for a creator isn't what we vaguely define as inspiration or even what it is we want to say, recall, regret, or rebel against. No, what's important is the way we say it. Art is all about craftsmanship. Others can interpret craftsmanship as style if they wish. Style is what unites memory or recollection, ideology, sentiment, nostalgia, presentiment, to the way we express all that. It's not what we say but how we say it that matters. Fellini

ReplyDeleteI super like Sienna! She's what I consider a "hippie chick" whether she actually is or not. the bohemian "i dont give an eff" style is pretty radical and i think you pull it off quite well lioness!
